STAIRCASE Cadogan Lodge is a high-end holiday home for a family with two kids in Chelsea, London. We delivered a home showcasing the best of Italian finishes, Italian elegance, and craftsmanship. The home comprised an impressive number of spaces amongst which six bedrooms and two en-suite bedrooms (one with two en-suite bathrooms), 3 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, a dining room, a study, and a terrace.

The staircase, the centre piece to the home, was commissioned to DKT artworks, it is in a bronzed metal finish juxtaposed to Calacatta Marble. The staircase spans across all floors creating a visual connection through the home. The house was originally 200sqm, however it was entirely stripped of the old timber structure only to leave the outer shell. The interior was then rebuilt in concrete and new floor levels were inserted, this allowed additional space to be created: the home now is 300sqm. A vast amount of luxurious marbles and stones were chosen for the finishes, amongst which: Travertino, Santa Travertino Oniciato for the living areas and Eramosa for the bathrooms, Portoro for the fireplaces, Black Brazilian Ardesian for the terrace.
